All our funeral directors are dressed impeccably with top hats and frock coats. We pace away all funeral corteges from the family home, Churches and our funeral homes. Our funeral homes are furnished to a high standard with a tasteful blend of modern and traditional. We have reception areas, private arrangement offices and chapels of rest and service rooms in all our funeral homes. Our funeral homes are ideally located to serve the local community.

OUR STORY
When Desmond Maguire started washing funeral cars at 15 years old, it didn’t take him long to notice how important a good funeral could be for a grieving family. Inspired to help those in need, Desmond took a job as a funeral service operative when he finished school. He gradually worked his way through the ranks to become a funeral director and in June 2006, he decided to open his own funeral home, aiming to deliver the very best funeral care.
A funeral is such a personal thing, and there are so many complex emotions to be given due attention, that to be chosen so often is a real honour and a privilege. It’s a constant source of pride and humility for Desmond that so many families entrust their funerals into his company’s care.

In addition to local funerals in Cambuslang, we can also assist with Repatriation Services, and we are partnered with local Stonemason’s. Together, we help our clients create the perfect headstones and memorials.
All of our funeral plans include a choice of caskets, a private hearsette to transport the deceased from the hospital or their home into our care at our Funeral Home near Cambuslang.
The Mill Funeral Home
Once in our care, our team care for the bodies of the deceased with dignity and respect. Our Funeral Home is located within the grounds of Rutherglen Cemetary. A short commute from Cambuslang.
Within the facilities are a Chapel of Rest, service room, and family room, each fitted with soft modern lighting, and seating for up to 120 mourners in the service room.
Funeral Vehicles Fleet
We maintain our own luxury fleet of funeral vehicles including a traditional hearse and Mercedes Limousines. We do cater to special requests such as motorcycle-drawn hearses, horse and hearse carriages, or any other alternative funeral vehicles that would provide a more fitting send-off for your loved one.
Our limousines are driven by experienced chauffeurs and we can provide transport for as many people as you require.
On the day of the funeral service, our Funeral Directors can assist with arranging the procession for other mourners to follow the funeral cortege along the route.
