Our funeral homes are furnished to a high standard with a tasteful blend of modern and traditional. We have reception areas, private arrangement offices and chapels of rest and service rooms in all our funeral homes. Our funeral homes are ideally located to serve the local community.

OUR STORY
When Desmond Maguire started washing funeral cars at 15 years old, it didn’t take him long to notice how important a good funeral could be for a grieving family. Inspired to help those in need, Desmond took a job as a funeral service operative when he finished school. He gradually worked his way through the ranks to become a funeral director and in June 2006, he decided to open his own funeral home, aiming to deliver the very best funeral care.
A funeral is such a personal thing, and there are so many complex emotions to be given due attention, that to be chosen so often is a real honour and a privilege. It’s a constant source of pride and humility for Desmond that so many families entrust their funerals into his company’s care.

Traditional Funerals
Our traditional funerals include a wood-veneered casket, use of our hearsette, a limousine and full use of our funeral home, including our viewing room.
Eco-friendly funerals
Eco-friendly funerals make use of natural caskets and can extend to a natural burial with no embalming, or a woodlands burial can be arranged.
Our aim is to meet the unique wishes of families. As such, any aspect of our funeral services can be tailored to create a bespoke funeral plan for the most fitting service.
About Our Funeral Home
The Mill Funeral Home is located near Neilston approximately a 20-minute journey by car via the M77. Our facilities are tastefully decorated throughout. Within our funeral home, we have a reception area, a chapel of rest, a family room, a viewing room, and a service room with a seating capacity for up to 120 mourners. Our service room is equipped with an audio system.
Traditional Funeral Vehicles Available
We maintain our own fleet of Mercedes Benz funeral vehicles. We use our hearsette to transport the deceased into our care. A limousine is included in our traditional funeral plans, and more are available should they be required.
Should you wish to have alternative funeral vehicles, our Funeral Directors can make arrangements.
